Get More Clear Aligner Patients with Google Ads in Dubai
Offering clear aligners that are not Invisalign? UAE search data, why rival brand names stay out of your ads, DHA rules, keywords and WhatsApp follow-up.
Offering clear aligners that are not Invisalign? Good news: most UAE searchers use the category, not a brand. "Aligners" had 1,600 searches in September 2026, up 60% on a year earlier, against 70 or fewer for the other named aligner systems we checked. Bid on the category, never put another company's brand in your ad text, and win on what an in-clinic aligner offers that an online kit cannot: a dentist's examination, X-rays, a 3D scan and check-ups. For Invisalign itself, see our Invisalign page.

What people in the UAE search for
Google Ads Keyword Planner (UAE, English, September 2026) shows category terms leading:
- Category: "aligners" 1,600, "clear aligners" 880, "clear braces" 390, "transparent teeth braces" 390, "invisible braces" 320.
- Price: "clear aligners cost" 70, "teeth aligners cost" 70. Small, but close to a decision.
- Other brands: "spark aligners" 70 and some direct-to-consumer kit names. Low volume, and not yours to use in ad text unless you provide them.
- Care questions: "clean aligners" 90. These are existing wearers, often of a competitor.
Invisalign searches are far larger ("invisalign" had 5,400). You cannot borrow that demand. You can meet the many searchers who type the category and are open to any system.
What your ads can and cannot say
- Do not use a brand you do not offer. Google's trademarks policy lets owners restrict names in ad text, and Google's misrepresentation policy covers ads that mislead about what you sell. "Invisalign-style aligners" is both a trademark and a misleading-claim risk. If you use a branded system, such as ClearCorrect from the Straumann Group, name it only in line with the maker's rules.
- No comparisons you cannot prove. DHA's advertising standard bans comparisons with another treatment or device unless scientifically proven and referenced, and bans claims that harm other facilities commercially. "Better than Invisalign" and "half the price of Invisalign" are out. "Clinic-made aligners, prices on our page" is fine.
- Realistic timelines only. DHA's Clinical Guidelines of Orthodontics (version 2, effective 1 March 2026) expect a realistic estimate of treatment and retention time, and note that finishing treatment does not ensure a stable result. Ads should promise an assessment, not "straight teeth in 4 months".
- Prices need conditions. DHA rejects prices that leave out conditions. Google disapproves prices that the landing page does not show (price assets).

Campaign structure
- Category ad group: "clear aligners", "aligners", "invisible braces", "clear braces", with your area names.
- Price ad group: "aligners cost", "aligners price". Put your real starting price in a headline and a price asset.
- Kit switchers: "aligners with dentist", "aligner check-up". Some people start online and want supervision. Do not name the kit company.
- Negatives: add "invisalign" if you do not provide it, plus kit, cleaning-product and job terms. See negative keywords.
- Teens, separately: parents search for their children, and Google does not allow personalised ads to under-18s (Google policy). Use keywords and parent-facing copy.

Landing page and WhatsApp follow-up
- What the patient gets: exam, X-rays, 3D scan, number of check-ups, refinements and retainers. Say which aligner system you use.
- Price with conditions: starting price, what changes it, monthly plans, VAT where it applies.
- Honest comparison: aligners vs braces and in-clinic vs online kits, factual and without naming competitors.
- The dentist: name and DHA licence title. "Specialist Orthodontist" only if that is the title.
Follow up the written plan at one, two and four weeks, and track started cases, not just scans. Track WhatsApp conversations as conversions (see WhatsApp leads from Google Ads).

Frequently asked questions
Can I bid on the word Invisalign if I offer a different aligner?
Do not put it in ad text, and expect poor results bidding on it. Patients searching that brand want that brand. Add it as a negative and compete on the category instead.
Which keywords work best for non-Invisalign aligners?
Category terms such as aligners, clear aligners, invisible braces and clear braces, plus price terms. In September 2026 aligners alone had 1,600 UAE searches.
Can I say my aligners are cheaper than Invisalign?
Avoid it. DHA bans unproven comparisons and claims that commercially harm other providers. Show your own price with conditions instead.
How do I compete with online aligner kits?
Advertise what a clinic includes: an examination, X-rays, a 3D scan and check-ups with a licensed dentist. Never name the kit company in your ads.
