Get More Dietitian Patients with Google Ads in Dubai
Dietitian and nutrition Google Ads in Dubai: search themes, weight-claim rules, GLP-1 terms to block, title rules, packages and WhatsApp follow-up that sticks.
Dietitian searches in Dubai fall into three groups: medical nutrition (diabetes, PCOS, gut health), weight management and sports or family nutrition. Sell a plan with a licensed dietitian, not a number of kilos. Weight claims must be realistic and, in Dubai Healthcare City, must reference diet and physical activity. GLP-1 drug names are banned in UAE ads, so add them as negatives. And because Dubai's basic plan excludes obesity treatment, price packages clearly for self-pay patients.

What people in the UAE search for
- Profession: "dietitian Dubai", "nutritionist near me", "clinical dietitian", "female dietitian".
- Medical nutrition: "diabetes diet plan dietitian", "PCOS dietitian", "IBS diet", "kidney diet".
- Weight: "weight loss dietitian", "diet plan Dubai". Many weight searches also include GLP-1 brand names.
- Sport and family: "sports nutritionist", "child nutritionist", "pregnancy nutrition".
What your ads can and cannot say
- Weight claims. DHCC's advertising policy requires weight-management ads to reference diet and physical activity (DHCR policy). Google rejects improbable claims such as guaranteed kilos (unreliable claims), and DHA bans "immediate results" and "100%" (Khaleej Times).
- GLP-1 names. Ozempic, semaglutide and tirzepatide are on Google's prescription drug list. Keep them out of ads, keywords and landing pages (Google, October 2025). If your clinic also prescribes, see weight-loss clinic patients.
- Titles. Use the title on the DHA licence. "Dr" is limited to physicians, dentists and recognised PhD holders (Gulf News).
- Conditions are sensitive. Ads about diabetes or other chronic conditions fall under Google's personalised advertising policy, so no remarketing or Customer Match on those pages.
- Before and after. Same person, same lens, no editing, a "results vary" disclaimer and written consent (Gulf News). Keep them off ads.
Campaign structure
- Medical nutrition campaign: diabetes, PCOS, gut and kidney ad groups. Partner with doctors: see endocrinology patients.
- Weight campaign: its own budget and brand-free pages.
- Sport and family: separate ad groups with their own pages, so a parent looking for a child nutritionist never lands on a weight-loss page.
- Online consultations: if you offer them, make it a sitelink and say so in the ad. In Dubai, remote consultations must run through a DHA-licensed telehealth facility (DHA telehealth standard).
- Packages: first consultation plus follow-ups, price with conditions in the ad and price assets.
- Insurance: Dubai's Essential Benefits Plan excludes obesity treatment (EBP table of benefits), so weight clients mostly pay themselves. Cover for medical nutrition varies by plan, so check before quoting. See Dubai health insurance.
Landing page and WhatsApp follow-up
Each page: the dietitian's licensed title and languages, who the service is for, what the first consultation covers, package prices with conditions, online options and the review rhythm. Retention is the business: book the next review before the client leaves and send reminders with consent.

Frequently asked questions
Can a dietitian advertise weight loss on Google in Dubai?
Yes, as a dietitian-led service with realistic claims. Avoid guaranteed kilos and timelines, and in Dubai Healthcare City weight-management ads must reference diet and physical activity.
Can I mention Ozempic in my dietitian ads?
No. Ozempic, semaglutide and tirzepatide are on Google's prescription drug list, and promotional use is not allowed in UAE ads, keywords or landing pages. Add them as negative keywords.
Does insurance cover dietitian visits in Dubai?
Dubai's basic Essential Benefits Plan excludes obesity treatment, so weight clients mostly pay themselves. Cover for medical nutrition varies by plan, so check each client's policy.
Can I call our dietitian "Dr" in ads?
Only if they are a physician or hold a recognised PhD. Otherwise use their name and exact licensed title.
