Get More Doctor on Call Patients with Google Ads in Dubai
Running a doctor on call service in Dubai? What people search, what DHA's home healthcare standard lets you promise, emergency wording, keywords and replies.
Launching a doctor on call service, or adding home visits to a clinic? People search "doctor on call Dubai", "doctor home visit" and "hotel doctor" when someone is unwell and cannot or will not travel. That makes this the most time-sensitive home service to advertise. Dubai's home healthcare standard lists physician consultations at the patient's home among clinical services, so the service itself is advertisable for licensed facilities. Your ads must be clear about what a home doctor can and cannot handle, give the emergency number, show realistic arrival times, and be answered every minute they run.

What people in the UAE search for
- Urgent: "doctor on call dubai", "doctor home visit", "gp home visit near me".
- Visitors: "hotel doctor dubai", "doctor visit hotel downtown". Tourists without a local GP.
- Family: "paediatrician home visit", "doctor visit for elderly parent".
- Telehealth: "online doctor consultation", "video doctor dubai". Related, different licence questions.
Most of these searches happen in the evening and at night, from a phone, a few kilometres from where the patient is. Size each theme in Keyword Planner and check the hours of day in your own account data.
What your ads can and cannot say
The service is in the standard. Section 8.3.1 of Dubai's Standards for Home Healthcare Services lists physician consultations at the patient's home, assessments, management of acute issues with coordination with emergency services, telephone and telehealth follow-ups, and prescriptions. Only licensed facility types may provide home services (5.4).
| OK to advertise? | |
|---|---|
| Doctor visit at home or hotel | ✓ Yes, licensed facility |
| Typical arrival time range | ✓ If you meet it |
| Emergency care at home | ✗ Give 998 instead |
| Named prescription medicines | ✗ Banned on Google |
Emergencies. The DHA advertising standard rejects content that encourages inappropriate self-diagnosis or self-treatment (DHA standard for medical advertisement content). Put "Emergencies: call 998" in your ads and on the page, and make clear which symptoms need a hospital, not a home visit.
Google. Ads about health conditions cannot use remarketing (health in personalised advertising policy). Prescription drug names are banned in ads, keywords and landing pages (healthcare and medicines policy). If you add online prescribing or medicine delivery, Google applies extra certification rules to online pharmacy and prescription services.
Campaign structure
- Call-first ads with call assets, only during hours a doctor can actually be dispatched (ad schedules).
- Areas you can reach in your stated times. Separate hotel districts if visitors are a focus.
- Ad groups: general home visit, hotel doctor, child home visit, elderly visit.
- Track calls properly. See tracking phone calls in the UAE.

Landing page and WhatsApp follow-up
Visit fee with conditions, typical arrival times by area, what the doctor can do at home, what needs a hospital, insurers if any, and one-tap call and WhatsApp.
Write the page for someone reading it on a phone at night, worried and possibly in a hotel room. Put the fee, the arrival time and the call button in the first screen. Say which languages your doctors speak, whether you visit children, and how payment works for visitors without UAE insurance. After the visit, send a short summary and a follow-up message the next day: a patient who felt looked after is the one who calls you again, and recommends you to the next guest.

Frequently asked questions
Can a licensed clinic advertise doctor home visits in Dubai?

Should doctor on call ads mention emergencies?
Yes. Tell people to call 998 for emergencies, and do not advertise emergency care at home.
Can I bid on ambulance searches?
No. Someone searching for an ambulance needs emergency services. Add ambulance terms as negatives.
Can I remarket people who searched for a home doctor?
Not for ads about health conditions or treatments. Google treats them as sensitive for personalised advertising.
