Get More Jaw Slimming Patients with Google Ads in Dubai

Jaw slimming ads in Dubai without naming the toxin: Google's restricted drug terms, brand-free landing pages, who can inject under DHA and keywords.

Guide · 28 Oct 2026 · Access One

Quick answer

Jaw slimming (masseter reduction) usually uses a botulinum toxin, and that changes everything about the ad. Since 29 October 2025, Google has not allowed toxin brand names or "botulinum toxin" to be used promotionally in ads, keywords or landing pages outside the US, Canada and New Zealand. UAE law also restricts advertising prescription medicines to the public. So the product name never appears: not in the title, the URL, the keywords or the page. Advertise "jaw slimming" and "masseter reduction" as a doctor-led treatment, on a page with no brand names, and you can still reach the people searching for it.

Treatment name, doctor and conditions. No product name anywhere in the ad or on the page.

What people in the UAE search for

Google's UAE autocomplete shows "botox masseter price" style searches, which means patients often type the brand. You cannot bid on those. You can bid on the treatment searches around them:

  • Treatment: "jaw slimming dubai", "masseter reduction dubai", "jaw reduction injection", "face slimming injection".
  • Shape terms: "v shape face treatment", "slim face treatment". Use as page sections, and avoid promising the shape in ads.
  • Function: "teeth grinding treatment", "jaw clenching treatment". These are medical complaints. They need a dentist's or doctor's assessment and a separate, clinical page, not jaw slimming ad copy.
  • Confusion: "jawline filler". A different product. Keep it in its own jawline filler campaign.

Autocomplete proves searches exist, not how many there are. Check volumes in Keyword Planner and review the search terms report weekly.

Treatment terms only. Never a toxin brand or botulinum toxin as a keyword. Fillers, gadgets and exercises as negatives.

What your ads can and cannot say

  1. Google: restricted drug terms. Google's prescription drug list names botox, dysport, xeomin and botulinum toxin. The October 2025 update and the restricted drug terms policy bar promotional use in ads, landing pages and keywords outside the US, Canada and New Zealand. Google says the list is not exhaustive, so treat other toxin brands the same way.
  2. The landing page counts. A jaw slimming page that names the toxin brand it uses can get the ad disapproved even if the ad itself is clean. Remove brand names from the page, menu, FAQ and image alt text.
  3. UAE law. Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2024, Article 44, needs EDE approval to advertise a medical product (FAO mirror), and the earlier federal law prohibited advertising prescription-only drugs to the public (CMS expert guide). DHA's ST-05 standard says cosmetic toxin is a prescription-only medicine.
  4. Audiences. Injections are an invasive procedure under Google's health in personalised advertising policy. No Customer Match, your data segments or lookalikes.
Advertise the treatment and the doctor. The product stays in the consultation room.

Who can perform it in Dubai

Appendix 1 of ST-05 lists toxin injections in the face (excluding the nose) for dermatologists, plastic surgeons, trained physicians and GPs, and DHA-licensed orthodontists, prosthodontists and maxillofacial surgeons. Nurses are not listed. Section 7.9.1 says other dentists may not perform these procedures. So a dental clinic with one of those specialists can offer jaw slimming, which suits patients who already come in for clenching.

Campaign structure

  • Its own campaign, separate from fillers, with "filler" as a negative, and "slimming" and "masseter" as negatives in the filler campaign.
  • A brand-free landing page. Check it with a text search for every toxin brand before launch.
  • Treatment and price ad groups. Price assets only if the page shows the same price with conditions.
  • A separate clinical campaign for clenching and grinding, if you offer it, written as a medical assessment.
  • Policy checks: if ads are disapproved, read why healthcare ads get disapproved.

Landing page and WhatsApp follow-up

  • "Jaw slimming" or "masseter reduction" as the headline, with no product names.
  • The doctor's name and DHA title.
  • Timing, risks and warning statement in plain words.
  • Price with conditions.
Patients will use the brand name. Your reply does not need to.

Reception teams should not quote product brands or units in WhatsApp. Give them an approved reply, and keep product conversations for the doctor.

Buying stock

The EDE and DHA issued 2026 alerts about falsified toxin products (The National). Buy only through the brand's authorised UAE channel.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use Botox as a keyword for jaw slimming in the UAE?

No. Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and botulinum toxin are on Google's prescription drug list, and promotional use in ads, keywords and landing pages is not allowed outside the US, Canada and New Zealand.

Can my landing page say which toxin brand we use?

Not on a page you send ads to. Google checks landing pages for restricted drug terms. Explain the product at the consultation instead.

Can a dentist offer jaw slimming in Dubai?

DHA's non-surgical cosmetic standard lists face toxin injections for DHA-licensed orthodontists, prosthodontists and maxillofacial surgeons. Other dentists are not allowed to perform them.
