Get More Home Salon Customers with Google Ads in Dubai
Home salon in Dubai? The separate home service permit, a service-area Business Profile, area targeting, negatives and WhatsApp bookings that build trust.
Launching a home salon service in Dubai? Customers search "home salon dubai", "salon at home near me" and "manicure at home", and they book on trust: who is coming, whether she is licensed, and what she brings. Before any ad, check the paperwork: Dubai Municipality has said home and mobile salon services need a separate permit from Dubai Economy, on top of a salon licence, and its salon guideline now covers mobile salons. Then set up Google correctly for a business that travels: a service-area Business Profile with the address hidden, areas listed by name, location targeting that matches them, and a WhatsApp flow that confirms the area, the slot and the named professional.

What customers in the UAE search for
- General: "home salon dubai", "salon at home", "beauty services at home", "home service salon near me".
- Service plus home: "manicure at home", "blow dry at home", "makeup at home", "henna at home", "haircut at home for kids". Each service is its own ad group.
- Occasion: "bridal makeup at home", "eid home salon", "party makeup at home". Group bookings raise the value of a visit.
- Area: "home salon dubai marina", "home salon arabian ranches". Customers want to know you come to their area.
- Not customers: "home salon jobs", "freelance beautician", "part time", "visa", "home salon equipment", and adult massage terms.
What your ads can and cannot say
- Only with the permit. Dubai Municipality said "the provision of providing mobile services and home services requires a separate permit", issued by Dubai Economy, and that staff working without it face penalties from both (Gulf News, 2018). There is no stand-alone "mobile salon" activity: the service is added to a salon licence approved by Dubai Municipality (Gulf News, 2024).
- Same hygiene rules at home. Dubai Municipality's salon guideline (V5, March 2026) applies to "mobile salons" too: sterilised tools, single-use items, approved and labelled products, and consultation records for specialised services.
- No banned products. Dubai Municipality bans black henna and unapproved products, and DHA has warned about home henna artists using products from unknown sources (The National).
- Clean massage wording. If you offer home massage, Google's compensated sexual acts policy bans "intimate massage", and suggestive content does not serve in the UAE (sexual content policy). Advertise techniques, never therapists' looks.
- Prices include VAT (Mondaq), and state any call-out fee or minimum order, or Google's misrepresentation policy can apply.
Campaign structure
- Location targeting by area, not the whole city. Target only the areas your team can reach on time, and exclude the rest.
- A service-area Business Profile. Google says a business that "visits or delivers to customers directly but doesn't serve customers at their business address" should remove the address from its profile, set up to 20 service areas, and keep them within about 2 hours' driving; a radius is not accepted (Google Business Profile Help).
- Ad groups by service, each with "at home" in the headline and a page for that service.
- Occasion campaigns before Eid and wedding dates, with group packages.
- Remarketing and customer lists are normally available for beauty services, which are not among Google's sensitive health categories. Use only customers who agreed to marketing.
Landing page and WhatsApp follow-up
- Areas covered as a list of names, plus the call-out fee and minimum booking.
- Your licence and permit stated plainly, and the team with names and photos taken with their consent.
- What the professional brings: sterilised tools in sealed pouches, single-use items, a clean towel set.
- Booking that confirms the address, the time window and who is coming.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a permit to offer salon services at home in Dubai?
Yes. Dubai Municipality has said home and mobile salon services need a separate permit from Dubai Economy, on top of a salon licence. Staff working without it face penalties. Confirm current requirements with the Department of Economy and Tourism.
Should a home salon show its address on Google?
No, if customers do not come to you. Google asks service-area businesses to remove the address, list up to 20 service areas by name, and keep them within about 2 hours' driving.
How do I stop job seekers clicking my home salon ads?
Add negatives such as jobs, freelance, part time, visa and course before launch, and review the search terms report every week.
Can a home salon advertise massage?
Only if massage is covered by your licence and permit, and only with technique-led wording. Google bans intimate massage ads and does not serve suggestive content in the UAE.
