Get More IV Drip Patients with Google Ads in Dubai
Stocking IV drip ingredients in the UAE? Which names you can advertise, unapproved substance rules, at-home limits, keywords, negatives and WhatsApp screening.
Sourcing IV drip ingredients, or comparing suppliers? Every ingredient you stock becomes an advertising question. Google bans promotional use of prescription drug names in UAE ads, keywords and landing pages, and its unapproved substances policy catches products sold as safe or effective without approval. UAE law requires Emirates Drug Establishment approval to advertise medical products. So name drips by purpose ("hydration", "vitamin"), check each ingredient's registration, avoid cure claims, and make the doctor's assessment the first step. That is compliant, and it is what nervous first-timers want to see.

What people in the UAE search for
- Generic: "iv drip dubai", "iv therapy near me", "vitamin drip". The core.
- Purpose: "hydration drip", "recovery drip", "energy drip". Fine as keywords, careful in ad copy.
- Ingredient: searches for specific ingredients. Check each one before you bid: if it is prescription-only, the name cannot go in keywords at all.
- Trade: "iv drip supplier uae", "iv vitamins wholesale". Other clinics.
What your ads can and cannot say
Ingredients. Google's healthcare and medicines policy restricts prescription drug terms in ads, keywords and landing pages outside the US, Canada and New Zealand. Its unapproved substances policy covers products marketed as safe or effective without approval, or as effective as prescription drugs. In July 2026 the UAE drug regulator acted against 71 entities over unapproved weight-loss peptides and said one widely promoted compound was not approved in the UAE (Khaleej Times, July 2026). Before naming an ingredient, check its UAE registration with the EDE.
| Ad text | Landing page | |
|---|---|---|
| Drip by purpose (hydration) | ✓ Yes | ✓ Yes |
| Non-prescription ingredient | ✓ If registered | ✓ If registered |
| Prescription-only ingredient | ✗ No | ✗ No |
| Cure or detox claims | ✗ No | ✗ No |
Claims. Google's unreliable claims policy covers miracle cures. The DHA standard for medical advertisement content rejects "magic", "miraculous", "immediate results" and failing to disclose risks. Injections are invasive procedures under the health in personalised advertising policy, so no remarketing.
Product law. Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2024 requires EDE approval to advertise medical products, including supplements and pharmaceuticals (official text).
At-home IV: check your licence first
Dubai's Standards for Home Healthcare Services list IV therapy as skilled nursing care for patients referred by a physician who are homebound or semi-homebound. They do not mention wellness drips. Confirm with DHA (or DoH or MOHAP) that your licence covers "IV drip at home" before you advertise it.
Campaign structure
- Clinic campaign on generic and purpose keywords, tight radius, staffed hours only.
- Menu landing page with each drip by purpose, non-prescription ingredients, duration, price and who should not have it.
- Negatives for cure, detox, weight-loss drug and trade terms.
- Measure first drips, screening drop-outs and repeat visits at 30 and 90 days.

Landing page and WhatsApp screening
In March 2025, Khaleej Times reported a Dubai resident hospitalised after an IV drip she said she received without prior tests (Khaleej Times, March 2025). Make the opposite your selling point: a doctor assessment before the first drip, licensed nurses, clear exclusions.

Only ingredients that are not prescription-only and are registered for sale in the UAE. Prescription drug terms are banned in UAE ads, keywords and landing pages.
Why was my hangover drip ad disapproved?
Usually a cure claim or a prescription ingredient in the ad or on the landing page. Rename the drip by purpose and remove drug names.
Can I advertise IV drips at home in Dubai?

Can I remarket IV drip clients?
Not for these ads. Google treats injections, including IV therapy, as invasive procedures for personalised advertising.
