Get More Microblading Customers with Google Ads in Dubai
Can a Dubai salon do microblading? Yes, per DHA ST-05 Appendix 1, with approval. What to advertise, what not to (laser removal), keywords and WhatsApp.
Yes, a Dubai salon can offer and advertise microblading, if the artist holds the right approvals. The Dubai Health Authority's Standards for Non-Surgical Cosmetic Procedures (ST-05) list "semi-permanent makeup, micro-blading and removal of semi-permanent makeup including eyebrow and lip tattoo" among the procedures a beauty therapist may perform, and let beauty therapists do Appendix 1 procedures in a salon without a doctor's supervision, except laser, IPL and microneedling. Dubai Municipality tells salons to get DHA approvals for these services. So: advertise microblading, powder brows and lip blush, never laser removal, and win the "microblading dubai" and "ombre brows price" searches with healed results, a clear touch-up policy and a consultation on WhatsApp.

What customers in the UAE search for
- Technique: "microblading dubai", "ombre powder brows", "combo brows", "lip blush", "nano brows". Customers often compare techniques before choosing an artist.
- Price: "microblading price dubai", "powder brows cost". Price is a filter, not the decision: the artist's healed work is.
- Touch-up and correction: "microblading touch up", "fix bad microblading". Good customers, but a correction needs an honest consultation first.
- Removal: "microblading removal", "laser brow removal". A salon can offer non-laser removal, but laser removal is for doctors, so do not bid on "laser".
- Not customers: "microblading course", "microblading pen", "pigments wholesale", "microblading training dubai". Artists and trainees.
What your ads can and cannot say
- The artist needs DHA approval. DHA ST-05 sets which professional may do which procedure. Dubai Municipality's salon guideline (V5, March 2026) says salons must refer to DHA "to obtain the necessary approvals and permits" for non-surgical cosmetic services, and must not provide unauthorised medical services. Advertise only what your approvals cover.
- Do not advertise laser removal. In ST-05 Appendix 1, laser removal of tattoos is ticked for dermatologists, plastic surgeons and physicians only.
- Google does not ban microblading ads, but its misrepresentation policy bans claims that present an improbable result as likely. "Painless", "permanent" and "perfect brows in one session" are risky. Say "semi-permanent" and explain the touch-up.
- Healed photos need consent. Brow close-ups are still a customer's image, and the UAE cybercrime law penalises publishing photos without consent, with fines reported at up to AED 500,000 (Khaleej Times).
- Prices include VAT (Mondaq), and say whether the touch-up is included.
Campaign structure
- Ad groups by technique: microblading, powder or combo brows, lip blush, and touch-ups for customers of other artists. Each goes to its own page with healed results.
- A lower-volume, higher-value campaign: microblading is a considered purchase. Expect fewer, longer conversations and measure booked consultations, not clicks.
- Remarketing: Google's health in personalised advertising policy restricts audiences for "invasive medical procedures, including cosmetic surgery, surgical procedures, or injections". Microblading is not named, so remarketing is normally available, but keep the ad about your service, never about the viewer's face.
- Negatives: courses, tools, pigments and "laser". Review the search terms weekly, as described in our negative keywords guide.
Landing page and WhatsApp follow-up
- Healed results, not just fresh ones, shared with consent, and the artist's name and approvals.
- Who should not book yet: list the contraindications your artist screens for and ask about them before booking.
- Touch-up policy: when it happens, what it costs and what is included.
- Aftercare for the first days, in plain words.

Frequently asked questions
Can a beauty salon in Dubai do microblading?
Yes, with DHA approval. DHA's ST-05 Appendix 1 lists semi-permanent makeup and microblading among the procedures a beauty therapist may perform, and ST-05 lets beauty therapists do Appendix 1 procedures in a salon without supervision, except laser, IPL and microneedling. Dubai Municipality tells salons to obtain DHA approvals for these services.
Can my salon advertise laser removal of microblading?
No. In ST-05 Appendix 1, laser removal of tattoos is limited to dermatologists, plastic surgeons and physicians. A salon may advertise non-laser removal of semi-permanent makeup, or refer customers to a clinic.
Does Google allow microblading ads in the UAE?
Yes. Microblading is not a restricted category, but Google bans misleading claims, so avoid words like "permanent" or "painless" and explain the touch-up.
Can I remarket to people who visited my microblading page?
Normally yes. Google's sensitive category covers invasive medical procedures such as surgery and injections, and microblading is not named. Keep remarketing ads about your service, not the viewer's appearance.
