Get More Home Lab Test Patients with Google Ads in Dubai
Home blood test ads in Dubai: DHA's lab rules on promoting tests, walk-in limits and MOHAP approval, plus the doctor-led campaign that keeps you compliant.
Home blood tests look like an easy ad: "full body check-up at home, one low price". In Dubai it is one of the most regulated things a health business can promote. DHA's laboratory standard says labs should not promote tests to attract patients directly without a DHA-licensed physician's consultation or referral, limits walk-in tests to a permitted list, and requires prior MOHAP approval for lab advertising. So build the campaign around a doctor-requested test collected at home, or a doctor visit that includes the request, and keep test-package hard-selling out of your ads.

What people in the UAE search for
Google Ads Keyword Planner (UAE, English, September 2026) shows volatile, package-led demand:
- Home tests: "medical test at home" averaged 1,000 searches a month over the year but had only 50 in September. "Thyroid check up at home" 40, "full body checkup at home" 20 (about twice its level 11 months earlier).
- Packages: "blood test packages near me" 50 (about 2.5 times), "full body tests" 90.
- Specific: "vitamin d test at home", "home blood test for elderly", "pcr at home".
Package searches are where the regulatory risk sits. Home collection for a doctor's request, for elderly or homebound patients, is where a home healthcare provider fits best.
What your ads can and cannot say
- No direct promotion of tests. DHA's Standards for Clinical Laboratory Services (version 2, effective 17 July 2023) say clinical laboratories shall refrain from promoting or marketing tests aiming to attract patients directly without consulting or referral from a DHA-licensed treating physician (clause 9.1.7). It sits in the outsourcing section but is worded broadly.
- Walk-in list. Labs may accept walk-in patients only for tests on the standard's Appendix 3 permitted list. Anything else needs a physician's request. Genetic tests must be requested by a DHA-licensed physician.
- Ad approval. The same standard requires labs to obtain prior MOHAP approval for advertising material (clause 8.1.17). See MOHAP's healthcare advertisement licence.
- No product upsells. Labs must not recommend drugs, products, foods or lifestyles based on results. "Test plus personalised supplement plan" is out.
- Who collects. The standard says physicians, nurses or medical laboratory technologists who are regularly trained can collect specimens. DHA's home healthcare standard lists venepuncture among registered nurse tasks and expects documented clinical laboratory arrangements.
| Lead with | Avoid | |
|---|---|---|
| Home collection | ✓ For a doctor's request | ✗ Test menus aimed at the public |
| Doctor visit | ✓ Consultation includes the request | ✗ Skipping the physician |
| Packages | ! Only permitted walk-in tests | ✗ Full body check-up promos |
| Results | ✓ Sent to the treating doctor too | ✗ Supplement plans from results |
Campaign structure
- Home collection ad group: "blood test at home", "home sample collection", aimed at people who already have a request, and at families of elderly or homebound patients.
- Doctor visit ad group: "doctor home visit", "home doctor near me" (8,100 searches in September 2026). The visit can include a request when clinically indicated.
- Referrers: GPs, specialists and other home care providers who need collection at home. Never pay referral fees; the lab standard prohibits referring physicians from taking commission.
- Negatives: kits, genetic and paternity tests, training and jobs.
- Conversions: collection booked, then completed. Track calls and WhatsApp.
Landing page and WhatsApp follow-up
- How it works: send the doctor's request, choose a time, a licensed nurse collects, results go to you and your doctor.
- No request? Offer a doctor visit or telehealth consultation first.
- Fees: home collection fee and test prices with conditions; insurers accepted.
- Licences: the facility and the partner laboratory.
After results, make sure the requesting doctor has them and the family knows the next step. The lab must not advise products on results, so let the doctor lead the conversation.

Frequently asked questions
Can I advertise full body check-up packages at home in Dubai?

Who can collect blood at a patient's home?
Trained physicians, nurses or medical laboratory technologists, under DHA's lab standard. The home healthcare standard lists venepuncture among registered nurse tasks.

Yes. DHA's lab standard requires prior MOHAP approval for advertising material.
