Get More Vaccination Patients with Google Ads in Dubai
Offering vaccines at your Dubai clinic? What parents and adults search, why you advertise the service not the vaccine, stock rules, keywords and WhatsApp.
Added vaccinations to your clinic? Patients do not search for a vaccine brand. They search "flu vaccine near me", "baby vaccination Dubai" or "travel vaccines". Advertise the service: the appointment, who gives it, the record you update and the price with conditions. Vaccines are medical products, so naming a product in an advert needs Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) approval under UAE law. Keep stock and ads in sync, because Google disapproves offers you cannot honour, and run the campaign by season and by audience: parents, adults and travellers.

What people in the UAE search for
Vaccination searches come from three groups, and each needs its own ad group:
- Parents: "baby vaccination Dubai", "child vaccination schedule", "vaccination clinic near me", "6 month vaccines". They want the schedule, a calm room and a record they can show the school.
- Adults: "flu vaccine Dubai", "flu shot near me", "hepatitis B vaccine", "HPV vaccine adults". Highly seasonal for flu.
- Travellers and workers: "travel vaccines Dubai", "typhoid vaccine", "vaccination certificate". Often urgent, with a flight date.
Patients also type questions like "is the flu vaccine covered by insurance" and "flu vaccine price Dubai". Answer those on the landing page. Use Keyword Planner for volumes: the season decides your budget more than anything else.
What your ads can and cannot say
- Advertise the service, not the product. Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2024 defines medical products to include pharmaceutical products and says they may not be advertised by any means without EDE approval (Art. 44). "Flu vaccination at our clinic" is a service. A vaccine brand name in the headline is product promotion.
- Google's drug rules. The vaccine brand names we checked are not on Google's prescription drug list, but Google says the list is not exhaustive, and outside the US, Canada and New Zealand prescription drug terms cannot be used promotionally in ads, keywords or landing pages (Google, October 2025). Generic wording avoids both problems.
- Only offer what you have. Google's unavailable offers policy catches ads for things the landing page cannot deliver. Pause ad groups when a vaccine is out of stock.
- DHA wording. The DHA advertising standard bans claims such as "100%", "safest" and "no side effects" (Khaleej Times). Do not promise protection rates in an ad.
In Dubai, private clinics offering immunisation were brought under a DHA licensing policy for vaccine-qualified clinics (Khaleej Times), and DHA inspects cold chain, registers and reminder systems using its immunisation checklist. Advertise vaccination only if your facility is set up and approved for it.
Campaign structure
- Flu, seasonal: its own campaign, switched on when stock arrives. Location set to Presence, a tight radius, ad schedule matched to walk-in hours.
- Children: "baby vaccination", "vaccination schedule", "6 month vaccines". Ads speak to parents. Google's personalised advertising policy limits audiences on health topics, so target with keywords and location.
- Adults and travel: hepatitis, HPV, typhoid, travel clinic. Add a "same-week appointment" line only if true.
- Corporate flu drives: a separate campaign for HR buyers, see corporate health patients.
- Conversions: booked slots and calls, not page views. See conversion tracking.
Landing page and WhatsApp follow-up
Build one page per group: children's schedule, flu, adult vaccines, travel. Each shows what is available now, who gives it (licensed title), how long the visit takes, price with conditions, the insurers you accept and what to bring (the child's vaccination card, Emirates ID). Insurance rules differ by plan and emirate, so tell patients to check, and link to Dubai health insurance and Daman.
For children, the reminder system is the business: DHA's checklist asks whether one exists for missed appointments. Book the next dose before the family leaves and send a WhatsApp reminder with consent.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use a vaccine brand name in my Google Ads in the UAE?
Avoid it. UAE law requires EDE approval to advertise a medical product, and Google bans promotional use of prescription drug terms outside the US, Canada and New Zealand. Advertise the vaccination service instead.
Should I run flu vaccine ads all year?
No. Run flu as its own seasonal campaign and switch it on only when stock is in. Ads for vaccines you cannot supply risk Google's unavailable offers policy and waste budget.
Can I target parents of babies with audiences?
Health topics are sensitive under Google's personalised advertising policy, so do not plan remarketing or Customer Match around vaccination. Use keywords, location and ad schedule.
Do I need special approval to offer vaccines in Dubai?
DHA regulates immunisation services and inspects cold chain, registers and reminder systems. Confirm your facility licence covers vaccination before you advertise it.
