Dubai Health app: how to book, see results and download sick leave
How to use the Dubai Health app: book appointments, see lab results, download sick leave, add dependants, and fix login issues. Not the same as the DHA app.
The Dubai Health app ("Dubai Health - دبي الصحية") is the free patient app for Dubai's public hospitals and health centres, run by Dubai Health (formerly Dubai Academic Health Corporation). Use it to book or cancel appointments, see lab results and prescriptions, download attested sick leave, track a visa medical fitness application and manage your children's records. Log in with UAE PASS or a Dubai Health account. It is not the same as the "DHA" app, which is the regulator's app for licensed professionals and facilities.

Dubai Health app vs DHA app: which one you need
Two different organisations run healthcare in Dubai. Each has its own app. Most confusion starts here.

Why two? In November 2023 the public hospitals and clinics moved under the new Dubai Health brand. DHA kept regulation, licensing and insurance. The old DHA patient app became the Dubai Health app. The App Store listing still carries the old "DHA" wording in its web address. DHA then released a new DHA app in October 2024 for professionals and facilities.
If you are a patient, download Dubai Health. If you are a doctor, nurse or clinic manager checking a licence, use the DHA app or the Sheryan portal.
What the Dubai Health app can do
According to the official App Store listing, the app lets you:
- Book, change and cancel appointments at Dubai Health facilities. Virtual (telemedicine) consultations are also offered with some doctors.
- View medical records: lab results, prescriptions and past appointments.
- Download attested sick leave certificates issued at Dubai Health facilities.
- Track your medical fitness application (the visa medical) in real time.
- Add dependants and manage your children's records from one login.
- Register for blood donation.
- Find facilities on a map: hospitals, health centres, specialty clinics and fitness centres.
- Get reminders and notifications.
- Sync health data from Apple Health or Health Connect if you join a self-tracking programme.
Version 11.8.2 (July 2026) added a redesigned login and a WhatsApp channel to customer service with live agents. The app is in English and Arabic. You can change language from the account menu.
Requirements
- iPhone: iOS 18.0 or later.
- Android: Android 7.1 or later.
- Price: free. Developer: Dubai Academic Health Corporation. Check the developer name before you install.
How to set up and log in
- Install "Dubai Health - دبي الصحية" from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open it and choose Login with UAE PASS. Approve the request in the UAE PASS app. This is the fastest route because your Emirates ID links you to your hospital file.
- No UAE PASS? Create a Dubai Health account with your details instead.
- Turn on Face ID or Touch ID for quicker logins.
- Go to the family or dependants area to add your children.
How to book an appointment
- Tap book appointment and choose the specialty or doctor.
- Pick the facility, then a date and time slot.
- Confirm. The booking shows in your upcoming appointments.
- To reschedule or cancel, open the appointment and choose the option you need.
Prefer not to use the app? Dubai Health's FAQ lists two other routes: the 24/7 Customer Experience Team on 800 60, or the booking page on dubaihealth.ae. WhatsApp also reaches 800 60.

Lab results, records and sick leave
Results and prescriptions from Dubai Health facilities appear under medical records once released. Your doctor may hold some results until a follow-up visit.

Medical reports are a separate request. Dubai Health's facility pages send you to its online services portal (services.dubaihealth.ae) to start one.
Medical fitness (visa medical) status

Common problems and fixes
"I can't see my records from a private clinic"
The app shows records from Dubai Health facilities only. Private hospitals and clinics keep their own records. They share data with DHA's health information exchange, NABIDH, but that does not put them in this app. Ask the private clinic for its own patient portal. Background: NABIDH, Malaffi and Riayati.
UAE PASS login fails or opens the wrong profile
- Check your UAE PASS account is verified (linked to your Emirates ID), not a basic account.
- Update both apps to the latest version.
- If your Emirates ID was renewed, your hospital file may still hold the old details. Call 800 60 to have the file updated.
App will not install or crashes
Current versions need iOS 18 or later. Update your phone, then reinstall. On Android, clear the app cache or reinstall.
Can't find my child's record
Add the child as a dependant first. If the child was registered under another parent's file, ask 800 60 to link it.
No slots available
Try another facility, a virtual consultation, or call 800 60. Some specialty clinics need a referral.
Professionals: licence details missing

Is the Dubai Health app the same as the DHA app?
No. Dubai Health is the public hospital and clinic provider. Its app is for patients. The DHA app is the regulator's app for licensed professionals and facilities.
Is the Dubai Health app free?
Yes. The app is free. You pay for treatment as usual, through insurance or directly.
Can I use it without UAE PASS?
Yes. You can create a Dubai Health account instead. UAE PASS is faster and links your file automatically.
Can I download sick leave from the app?
Yes, if the sick leave was issued at a Dubai Health facility. Sick leave from private clinics is verified through DHA's Sheryan system instead.
What is the Dubai Health phone number?
Call 800 60, available 24/7. The same number works on WhatsApp.
Does it show results from private hospitals?
No. Only Dubai Health facilities appear. Use each private provider's own portal.
