Get More Hair Loss Treatment Patients with Google Ads in Dubai
Hair loss ads in Dubai: Google bans PRP by name and lists finasteride as a drug term. Condition-led keywords, DHA rules, landing page and follow-up.
Hair loss clinics in Dubai often lose ads to one word: PRP. Google's policy on speculative and experimental treatments names platelet-rich plasma and bans PRP ads outside a narrow US exception. Several hair loss medicines, including finasteride, dutasteride and spironolactone, are also on Google's prescription drug list. So the campaign must be condition-led: "hair loss treatment", "hair fall doctor", "female hair loss", with a dermatologist's name and title. Keep PRP, exosomes and drug names off the ads, keywords and landing page, and explain treatment options at the consultation.

What people in the UAE search for
- Condition: "hair loss treatment dubai", "hair fall treatment dubai", "hair loss clinic", "hair thinning treatment".
- Who: "female hair loss treatment", "hair loss after pregnancy", "male pattern baldness treatment". Each deserves its own ad group and page section.
- Specialist: "hair loss dermatologist dubai", "trichologist dubai", "scalp specialist".
- Treatment names: PRP, exosome and medicine searches. You cannot advertise against them, but your consultation page can still answer the patient.
- Surgical: "hair transplant dubai". A separate campaign and page if you offer it.
- Noise: "hair loss shampoo", "hair oil", "hair botox" (a salon keratin service), "wig", "vitamins".
What your ads can and cannot say
- PRP is banned by name. Google's speculative and experimental medical treatment policy prohibits ads for stem cell, cellular and gene therapies, "similar forms of regenerative medicine" and platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The only exception is for FDA-approved therapies in the US. Educational content is allowed, but an ad that sells PRP is not.
- Hair loss medicines are restricted terms. Google's prescription drug list includes finasteride, dutasteride and spironolactone. Since the October 2025 update they cannot be used promotionally in ads, keywords or landing pages outside the US, Canada and New Zealand. Minoxidil was not on the list when we checked, but naming medicines in a clinic ad still runs into UAE prescription-medicine advertising rules.
- Exosomes. Not named by Google, but sold as regenerative. UAE dermatologists publicly warned about exosome hair and skin claims in October 2026. See our news report and exosome advertising.
- No regrowth guarantees. DHA's advertising standard rejects claims that a treatment is certain or always effective, and content that causes undue fear. "Stop hair loss for good" and "Going bald? Act now" both fail.

Who can treat it in Dubai
DHA's ST-05 standard lists PRP for the face and hair for dermatologists, plastic surgeons and trained physicians and GPs, not nurses, and mesotherapy injections for the same doctors. If your clinic offers these, name the doctor. Just do not name the procedure in paid ads.
Campaign structure
- Ad groups by patient: women, men, postpartum, and "dermatologist" searches.
- A consultation landing page that explains the assessment (history, scalp examination, blood tests where needed) and lists treatment types in general terms. Check the page for "PRP", "exosome" and medicine names before launch.
- Separate hair transplant campaign if you offer surgery. See hair transplant Google Ads.
- Organic for treatment names. A clear, educational page on PRP can rank in organic search, where Google's ad policy does not apply. Never use it as an ad landing page.
- Conversion: attended assessment, tracked with conversion tracking.

Frequently asked questions
Can I advertise PRP for hair loss on Google in the UAE?
No. Google's speculative and experimental treatment policy names platelet-rich plasma and prohibits PRP ads, with an exception only for FDA-approved therapies in the US. Advertise hair loss treatment and the dermatologist instead.
Can I use finasteride as a keyword?
No. Finasteride, dutasteride and spironolactone are on Google's prescription drug list, and promotional use in ads, keywords and landing pages is not allowed outside the US, Canada and New Zealand.
Can my website still explain PRP?
Yes, as educational content in organic search, following DHA's rules on evidence and risks. Do not send paid ads to that page.
