Get More Home IV Therapy Patients with Google Ads in Dubai
At-home IV searches are up about 14 times in a year in the UAE. DHA home care rules, the glutathione warning, Google drug-term limits and a compliant campaign.
Demand for IV therapy at home is surging in the UAE. "At home iv treatment" had 1,600 searches in September 2026, about 14 times its level 11 months earlier (Google Ads Keyword Planner, UAE, English). The rules have not loosened. In Dubai, home healthcare is for physician-referred, homebound or semi-homebound patients, a physician must assess face to face before care starts, and IV therapy needs specialised consent. Advertise a doctor-led service, never a menu of quick drips, keep prescription ingredients out of ads and landing pages, and treat glutathione "whitening" searches as negatives: DHA has circulated a MOHAP warning against injecting glutathione for skin treatment.

What people in the UAE search for
Google Ads Keyword Planner (UAE, English), September 2026:
- At home: "at home iv treatment" 1,600 (about 14 times its level 11 months earlier), "iv therapy in home" 1,900, "home iv therapy near me" 590.
- Named drips: "nad iv drip" 3,600 (about 5 times), "gluta iv" 880, "glutathione drip" 590, "iron iv drip" 210.
- Doctor at home: "home doctor near me" 8,100 (about 14 times), "call doctor" 3,600, "house call doctors near me" 1,300.
Two different buyers sit in this data. One is a patient who needs IV medication at home after discharge or during a long illness. The other wants a wellness drip delivered. Your licence, the DHA standard and Google's policies treat them very differently, so separate them before you spend.
What your ads can and cannot say
- Who home care is for. DHA's Standards for Home Healthcare Services (effective 19 February 2025) say services are offered to patients referred by a physician, who are homebound or semi-homebound, and lists IV therapy as an example of skilled nursing need. A qualified physician must assess the patient face to face before services start, and specialised consent forms are required for services such as IV therapy. The standard does not mention wellness drips. Confirm with DHA that your licence and model cover what you advertise.
- Glutathione. DHA circular CIR-2021-00000172 (5 October 2021) passes on a MOHAP warning against using glutathione for dermatological treatment by injection into a vein, muscle or under the skin. Do not offer or advertise glutathione drips for skin, and never use "whitening" or "lightening" language.
- Prescription ingredients. Outside the US, Canada and New Zealand, Google does not allow prescription drug terms in ads, keywords or landing pages (Google policy update). If a drip contains a prescription-only medicine, keep its name off the ad and the page it links to.
- No cure or detox claims. Google's unreliable claims policy and DHA's advertising standard reject miracle, guaranteed and "no side effects" claims. DHA also requires a risk statement for invasive procedures.
- No remarketing. Injections are an invasive medical procedure under Google's health in personalised advertising policy, so Customer Match, your data segments and lookalikes are off.
| DHA / UAE | ||
|---|---|---|

| Glutathione whitening drip | ✗ Avoid | ✗ MOHAP warning via DHA |
| Remarketing to drip page visitors | ✗ Invasive procedure | ! Consent rules apply |
The risks are not theoretical. In March 2025 Khaleej Times reported a Dubai resident taken to hospital after a reaction to an NAD+ drip at a clinic, with no prior medical tests and a consent form handed over only after the drip (Khaleej Times). Assessment first is both the rule and the selling point.
Campaign structure
- Clinical home IV campaign: "iv therapy at home", "home infusion", "iv antibiotics at home", "home nurse for drip". Aim it at families and referrers, with a page about assessment, consent and nurse qualifications.
- Doctor home visit campaign, separately: "home doctor near me", "doctor on call". This is a natural entry point for IV cases, because the physician assessment comes first.
- Wellness drip terms: bid only if DHA has confirmed your model covers them, and route to a page that leads with the assessment. Add whitening, lightening and glutathione as negatives regardless.
- Referrers: hospitals and specialists discharge patients who need IV antibiotics or hydration at home. A direct referral line is worth building alongside ads.
- Conversions: assessment booked, then care started. See conversion tracking.

Landing page and WhatsApp follow-up
- How it works: referral or doctor visit, face-to-face assessment, written consent, nurse visit, monitoring, follow-up.
- Who it is not for, listed plainly, and what happens if a reaction occurs.
- The team: DHA licence numbers, the medical director, nurse qualifications.
- Prices per visit or course, with conditions, and insurers if any cover clinical IV care.

Frequently asked questions
Can I advertise IV drips at home in Dubai?
Dubai's home healthcare standard covers physician-referred, homebound or semi-homebound patients, with a face-to-face physician assessment and specialised consent for IV therapy. It does not mention wellness drips, so confirm your licence covers them before advertising.
Can I advertise glutathione drips?
No for skin treatment. A 2021 DHA circular passes on a MOHAP warning against injecting glutathione for dermatological treatment. Add whitening and glutathione terms as negatives.
How fast is demand for home IV therapy growing?
At home iv treatment had 1,600 UAE searches in September 2026, about 14 times its level 11 months earlier, per Google Ads Keyword Planner.
Can I remarket to people who visited my IV page?
No. Google treats injections as an invasive medical procedure, so advertiser-curated audiences such as Customer Match and your data segments are not allowed.
