Get More Keratin Treatment Customers with Google Ads in Dubai
Keratin salon in Dubai? What customers search, why "hair botox" breaks Google rules, formaldehyde claims, pricing by length, keywords and WhatsApp booking.
Added a new keratin or protein line to the salon? Customers will not search for the product. They search "keratin treatment dubai", "brazilian blowout near me" and "keratin price dubai", and many of them add "formaldehyde free". Win those searches with a Search campaign split by treatment, a price page that explains how hair length changes the price, and a WhatsApp reply that asks the same questions as Dubai Municipality's hair care consultation form. Two things to avoid: the word "botox" in any ad or keyword, and any "formaldehyde free" claim you cannot back up with the product's label.

What customers in the UAE search for
Keratin searches are more informed than most salon searches. The customer has usually read about the treatment and is comparing salons on price, product and how long it lasts:
- Treatment name: "keratin treatment dubai", "brazilian blowout", "protein treatment", "nanoplastia". Each name needs its own ad group, because the customer expects that exact word in the ad.
- Product safety: "formaldehyde free keratin", "organic keratin". These people have a question to answer before they book.
- Price: "keratin price dubai", "keratin treatment cost for long hair". Price depends on length and thickness, so a single price in the ad sets up a complaint at the chair.
- Area and near me: "keratin salon jvc", "keratin near me". The appointment takes several hours, so keep the radius tight.
- Not customers: "keratin shampoo", "keratin kit", "keratin course", "keratin wholesale". People buying products or training.
What your ads can and cannot say
A keratin salon is regulated by Dubai Municipality, not by the Dubai Health Authority, but there are still clear rules:
- Keep "botox" out of your ads. "Hair botox" is a common salon menu item, but Google's prescription drug term list includes "botox", and outside the US, Canada and New Zealand those terms may not be used promotionally in ads, keywords or landing pages (restricted drug terms). Call it a deep conditioning or repair treatment in anything Google sees.
- Formaldehyde claims must be true. Dubai Municipality's salon guideline (V5, March 2026) tells salons not to use products that emit volatile organic compounds and formaldehyde, and to use only approved, properly labelled cosmetics. If the ad says "formaldehyde free", the product's label and documents must support it. Google's misrepresentation policy also bans misleading claims.
- Consultation first. The same guideline requires a consultation before specialised services. Its hair care form names "hair straightening by using keratin products, protein, Botox" and asks about allergies, scalp conditions, medication and previous treatments.
- Prices include VAT. Under Article 38 of the UAE VAT law, advertised prices must include VAT, with a fine of AED 5,000 per violation (Mondaq).
Campaign structure
- One Search campaign with ad groups for keratin, Brazilian blowout, protein or nanoplastia, and price searches. Use the treatment name in the headline.
- Price assets by length: short, shoulder, long and extra long, each "priced incl. VAT on our page". The price in the ad must match the page, or Google's unavailable offers policy can disapprove it.
- Weekday budget: a keratin booking blocks a chair for hours, so steer budget to slots you can actually fill. Google allows up to 6 ad schedules per day per campaign.
- Remarketing for the repeat: keratin is a beauty service, not one of Google's sensitive health categories, so remarketing to past customers who agreed to marketing is normally available when the treatment starts to wear off.

Landing page and WhatsApp follow-up
- Name the product and what is in it. The customers searching "formaldehyde free" will look for it.
- A price table by length, the appointment time, and what is included (wash, blow dry, take-home advice).
- Aftercare in plain words: when she can wash, tie or colour her hair, and how long results usually last with your product.
- A WhatsApp button with a pre-filled message, and a form that asks for a photo of the hair.
Log the answers to the consultation questions, as Dubai Municipality expects, and send a reminder the day before. Track WhatsApp taps and bookings with conversion tracking.

Frequently asked questions
Can my salon advertise "hair botox" on Google?
Avoid it. Google's prescription drug term list includes "botox", and those terms cannot be used promotionally in UAE ads, keywords or landing pages. Describe the service as a deep conditioning or repair treatment instead.
Can I say my keratin is formaldehyde free?
Only if the product label and documents support it. Dubai Municipality tells salons not to use products that emit formaldehyde, and Google bans misleading claims, so the ad, the page and the product must agree.
How do I advertise keratin prices when they depend on hair length?
Show a "from" price for each length, including VAT, on the page and in price assets. Keep the ad price identical to the page so it is not disapproved.
Can I remarket to past keratin customers?
Usually yes. Keratin is a beauty service, not a sensitive health category, so remarketing is normally available. Only use customers who agreed to receive marketing.
