Get More Postnatal Care Patients with Google Ads in Dubai
Postnatal home care ads in Dubai: what DHA's home care standard covers, keeping nanny searches out, licence titles, Google pregnancy rules and keywords.
Postnatal home care sits between two markets: licensed nursing for mother and newborn, and domestic help such as nannies. Only the first is home healthcare. DHA's home healthcare standard covers postnatal care that can be managed at home and lets registered nurses conduct postnatal and newborn assessments, with physician home visits for newborn evaluation. Bid on clinical terms, exclude nanny and maid searches, use only the titles on your staff's DHA licences, and expect no audience targeting: Google treats pregnancy as a sensitive health category.

What people in the UAE search for
- Nursing: "postnatal nurse at home", "newborn nurse dubai", "home visit after delivery", "baby check at home".
- Specific needs: "c section wound care at home", "breastfeeding help at home", "newborn jaundice check".
- Doctor: "paediatrician home visit", "doctor home visit for baby". Demand for doctors at home is rising: "home doctor near me" had 8,100 UAE searches in September 2026, about 14 times its level 11 months earlier (Google Ads Keyword Planner, UAE, English).
- Childcare (not yours): "nanny for newborn", "maternity nanny", "babysitter". Different service, different licence.
What your ads can and cannot say
- What the standard covers. DHA's Standards for Home Healthcare Services (effective 19 February 2025) include patients who need antenatal or postnatal care that can be managed at home. Registered nurses may conduct prenatal, postnatal and newborn assessments, and physician home visits can include postnatal and newborn evaluation. Services are for physician-referred patients, after a face-to-face physician assessment.
- Titles. DHA's advertising standard bars titles that differ from the DHA licence. "Midwife", "lactation consultant" or "neonatal nurse" only if that is what the licence says.
- Babies' images and data. The same standard requires verifiable parental consent before using a child's information, and bans patient-identifiable details. Avoid newborn photos in ads.
- Sensitive category. Google's health in personalised advertising policy names pregnancy as sensitive. No Customer Match, your data segments or lookalikes. Win on keywords.
- No fear. "Is your baby feeding enough? Don't risk it" fails DHA's ban on distressing language.

Campaign structure
- Clinical postnatal ad group: postnatal nurse, newborn check, home visit after delivery.
- Task ad groups: caesarean wound care, feeding support, newborn jaundice check (only if your physicians handle it).
- Doctor visit ad group: paediatrician or doctor home visit for baby, scheduled to when a doctor is available.
- Referrers: obstetricians, maternity units and paediatricians. A discharge leaflet that a hospital can hand out with the family's consent reaches families at exactly the right moment.
- Families abroad: grandparents overseas sometimes arrange help. See reaching families abroad.
Landing page and WhatsApp follow-up
- Services for mother and for baby, listed separately.
- Who visits: names, DHA titles and qualifications.
- How it starts: referral, physician assessment, visit schedule.
- Prices: per visit and packages, with conditions; whether any insurer covers it.
- When to seek urgent care instead, written with your medical director.
Follow up after each visit with a short written summary, and ask the family's permission before sending updates to anyone else.

Frequently asked questions
Is postnatal home care covered by DHA's home healthcare standard?
Yes. The standard includes postnatal care that can be managed at home and allows registered nurses to conduct postnatal and newborn assessments, after a physician assessment.
Should I advertise nanny services alongside postnatal nursing?
Keep them apart. Childcare is not home healthcare, and mixing them confuses parents and risks using titles that are not on a DHA licence.
Can I target pregnant women or new parents on Google Ads?
Not with advertiser-curated audiences. Google treats pregnancy as a sensitive health category, so use keywords that new parents search.
Can I use newborn photos in postnatal ads?
Avoid it. DHA requires verifiable parental consent before using a child's information and bans patient-identifiable details in ads.
