Get More Gluta IV Patients with Google Ads in Dubai
Gluta IV searches in the UAE hit 880 in September 2026, but DHA circulated a MOHAP warning on glutathione skin injections. What to advertise instead.
Gluta IV searches are climbing in the UAE: 880 searches for "gluta iv" and "glutathione iv treatment" (Google Ads Keyword Planner, UAE, September 2026), 2.5 times the average of the previous three months. But in Dubai you should not sell a gluta drip as a skin treatment at all. DHA circular CIR-2021-00000172 passed a MOHAP warning to every private facility against using glutathione for dermatological treatment by injection into a vein, muscle or under the skin. Google can also block products that have drawn a regulatory warning. The way to win this demand is to answer it honestly: a dermatologist consultation for the skin concern, a drip menu without glutathione claims, and whitening as a negative keyword.

What people in the UAE search for
Source for every figure below: Google Ads Keyword Planner, UAE, September 2026 (English-language searches). Keyword Planner groups close variants and rounds volumes, so read them as size and direction.
| Search | Sep 2026 | Change |
|---|---|---|
| gluta iv, glutathione iv treatment, glutathione iv infusion | 880 | 2.5x the previous 3 months, level with October 2025 |
| glutathione drip | 590 | 1.4x the previous 3 months |
| glutathione iv drip, gluta iv drip | 480 | below the previous 3 months |
| skin glow iv drip | 210 | 12.6x the previous 3 months |
| cinderella drip | 110 | roughly flat |
| whitening iv drip | 10 | 12-month average 260 |
Searchers have moved from "whitening" to the product name: "whitening iv drip" fell to 10 against a 12-month average of 260 while "gluta iv" grew. The intent has not changed. Most of these people want a skin result, which is exactly what the regulator has warned against providing by injection. Treat the numbers as a demand signal for skin consultations, not as a product to push.
What your ads can and cannot say
- The UAE warning. On 5 October 2021 DHA circulated to all private health facilities and practitioners a MOHAP warning titled "Warning the use of Glutathione for dermatological treatment as injection into a vein or muscle or under the skin", asking them to adhere to it (DHA circular CIR-2021-00000172). We found no later EDE or MOHAP notice lifting it as of 28 October 2026.
- Regulators abroad agree. The US FDA has said it has approved no injectable drug for skin whitening or lightening (Practical Dermatology report of the 2015 FDA consumer update). The Philippine Department of Health said in February 2024 that it "does not support the use of glutathione for skin whitening" (Philstar).
- Google. Glutathione is not on the prescription drug list, but the unapproved substances section of the healthcare and medicines policy does not allow products that have been subject to any government or regulatory action or warning, or non-approved products marketed as safe or effective for treating a condition. The unreliable claims policy adds improbable results.
- DHA wording. Appendix 1 of DHA's medical advertisement standard (ST-21) rejects "references to a person improving their physical appearance" and unrealistic expectations. Section 6.8.4 says avoid promoting products not supported by clinical evidence.
- Product promotion needs approval. Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2024, Article 44, bans advertising a medical product without Emirates Drug Establishment approval (official text, FAO mirror).

Campaign structure: what to run instead
- Skin consultation campaign. Bid on pigmentation and uneven skin tone searches, plus "gluta iv" phrase and exact match, all pointing to a dermatologist consultation. See dermatology Google Ads.
- Say it on the page. If gluta searches reach the page, state plainly that you do not give glutathione injections for skin, in line with the MOHAP warning, and explain what the dermatologist can assess instead. A clear statement avoids a misleading match.
- Wellness drips separately, with no glutathione skin claims. Follow the IV drip guide.
- Negatives from day one: whitening, lightening, bleaching, fair, glow drip. Broad match on "gluta" also pulls soap and capsule searches.
- No remarketing for injection or condition-led ads, under Google's health in personalised advertising policy.

Landing page and WhatsApp follow-up
Patients will still ask for gluta by name. The reply decides whether you keep the patient and protect your licence.
- Consultation page: named dermatologist with DHA title, what the assessment covers, fee with conditions, and risks of any treatment offered.
- No before-and-after skin tone photos. See before-and-after photos in clinic ads.
- Train the front desk to use the same answer on calls, Instagram and WhatsApp.
