Why Are Aesthetic Clinic Google Ads Clicks So Expensive?
Aesthetic clinic clicks in Dubai costing too much? Cut generic terms, fix Quality Score, stop paying for browsers and judge cost per booked consultation.
Access One is the healthcare-only Google Ads agency in Dubai and a Google Partner. This is the order we check a UAE aesthetic clinic account in when this problem comes up. By Youssef Hajri, Founder.
Aesthetic clicks in Dubai are expensive because many clinics compete for the same few treatments, the main search word for toxins cannot be used, and health rules block remarketing, so every clinic fights for the same Search clicks. Your account pays more than it should when budget goes to generic terms like "aesthetic clinic Dubai", ads and pages are weak, location and hours are loose, or the bid strategy has no target. Cut the waste, then judge cost per booked consultation, not cost per click.

Quick diagnosis checklist
These checks show whether you are paying the market price or a penalty for your own setup.
- You know cost per booked consultation by treatment.
- Generic terms ("aesthetic clinic", "skin clinic dubai") are not taking most of the budget.
- Each treatment has its own ad group and landing page.
- Quality Score components on top keywords read Average or better.
- Search Partners and Display are off on Search campaigns.
- Location option is Presence and the radius is realistic.
- The bid strategy has a target, or a CPC cap if you use Maximize clicks.
- You are not using Target impression share at a high percentage on competitive terms.
Diagnostic flowchart
- Do you track booked consultations by treatment?NoFix tracking first; CPC alone will mislead you.
- Is most spend on treatment-specific keywords?NoMove budget from generic terms to treatment plus area.
- Are Quality Score components Average or better?NoImprove ad relevance and landing pages.
- Is the bid strategy capped or targeted?NoAdd a target CPA or a maximum CPC.
- Booking at a cost you can afford? Then the CPC is simply the price of the treatment's value.
The likely causes, ranked
- Everyone fighting for Search. Injections and cosmetic surgery are sensitive under Google's health in personalized advertising policy, so remarketing and customer lists are off. Search is the main paid channel, and it is crowded.
- Generic keywords. "Aesthetic clinic Dubai" attracts every competitor and every browser. Treatment-level searches are closer to booking.
- Weak quality. Ad Rank includes expected CTR, ad relevance and landing page experience (Google on Ad Rank). One page for every treatment drags all three down.
- Bid strategies that chase position. Target impression share at a high setting can push CPCs up fast on contested terms.
- Paying for clicks you did not choose. Search Partners, Display, wide locations and late-night hours.
How to fix it, step by step
1. Track cost per booked consultation
Track calls, WhatsApp and forms, then import booked consultations. A lip filler click and a body contouring click have very different values. See aesthetic leads not booking.
2. Rebuild keywords by treatment and area
- "lip filler jumeirah", "anti wrinkle injections dubai marina", "laser hair removal for men al barsha", "skin booster treatment dubai".
- Use phrase and exact match. Add negatives for "course", "training", "jobs", "machine", "wholesale", "at home" and "diy".
- Run brand in its own campaign so cheap brand clicks do not hide expensive non-brand ones.
3. Find who you are fighting
Tick the campaign under Campaigns and select Auction insights (Google's steps). Overlap rate and outranking share show whether one or two big groups set the price. If they do, compete on treatments and areas they cover less.
4. Lift quality
- Open Campaigns > Audiences, keywords and content > Search keywords and add the Quality Score columns.
- For each top keyword, fix the component marked Below average: split the ad group, rewrite the headline with the treatment and area, or build a dedicated page.
- Pages: injector name and licensed title, what happens, downtime, price "from" with conditions, consented results with a disclaimer, WhatsApp and call buttons.
5. Stop paying for traffic you did not choose
- In the campaign's Networks setting, untick Display and Search Partners (Google Search Network).
- In Settings > Locations > Location options, choose Presence (advanced location options).
- Under Campaigns > Ad schedule, run ads when someone can reply (ad schedule).
6. Put guardrails on bidding
With real, steady conversions, use Maximize conversions with a target CPA close to your actual cost per lead. Without them, cap CPCs while you collect data. Avoid high Target impression share on contested treatment terms. Background in Smart Bidding.
UAE and DHA specifics
- No public UAE benchmark. There is no reliable published cost per click for Dubai aesthetic clinics. LocaliQ's 2026 data is mostly US and has no aesthetic category, so use your own numbers.
- Compliant names can be cheaper. Toxin brand names cannot be used (Google update, October 2025), so the bidding happens on generic treatment names. Specific, local versions of those are where costs drop.
- DHA wording limits easy CTR tricks. "Best" and "instant results" are out under the DHA standard. Specifics such as the injector, the area, the price "from" and evening slots are what lift CTR.
- Salons do not compete on injectables. Beauty salons cannot offer toxin or filler injections under DHA scope rules, so your injectable competitors are other licensed facilities.

Frequently asked questions
What does a click cost for an aesthetic clinic in Dubai?
There is no reliable public figure for the UAE. Costs vary by treatment, area and season. Track your own cost per booked consultation by treatment and compare month to month.
Should I bid on "Botox" to get cheaper clicks?
No. Toxin brand names cannot be used in ads, keywords or landing pages in the UAE. Use "anti-wrinkle injections" and similar terms.
Why are my laser hair removal clicks so expensive?
It is one of the most searched treatments and many clinics bid on it. Treatment plus area and gender ("for men") keywords, a strong page and tight hours usually bring the cost down.
Can remarketing lower my costs?
Not for injectables or surgery. Google treats them as sensitive health topics, so remarketing and customer lists are not allowed on those ads.
