How much does a Google Ads agency cost in Dubai?

How Dubai Google Ads agencies price their work: retainer, % of spend, hybrid and pay-per-lead models, what drives cost, worked examples and red flags.

Guide · 18 Oct 2026 · Access One

Quick answer

There is no official or published price list for Google Ads agencies in Dubai. Agencies charge in one of a few ways: a flat monthly fee, a percentage of your ad spend, a hybrid (a minimum fee plus a percentage), a one-off setup fee, or pay-per-lead. The price depends mainly on your ad spend, how many campaigns, locations and languages you run, and whether landing pages, tracking and reporting are included. Your ad spend is a separate cost paid to Google, so always compare quotes on total cost per booked patient, not on the fee alone.

What drives the price up or down

  1. Ad spend. Bigger budgets mean more data to manage, more testing and more risk. Percentage models scale with it directly.
  2. Number of campaigns and treatments. One dental clinic selling implants is simpler than a multi-specialty clinic running ten service lines.
  3. Locations. Each branch usually needs its own targeting, call tracking and reporting.
  4. Languages. English and Arabic campaigns need separate keywords, ads and often landing pages.
  5. Landing pages. Building treatment-specific pages is extra work, and often the biggest lever on results.
  6. Tracking setup. Calls, forms, WhatsApp clicks and offline bookings each need configuring. See conversion tracking for clinics.
  7. Compliance work. Healthcare ads must pass Google's health policies and, in Dubai, the DHA's advertising standards, which require the medical director to approve ad content. Experienced healthcare teams build this in.
  8. Reporting and meetings. Weekly calls and custom dashboards cost more than a monthly email report.

Worked examples (hypothetical numbers)

These are invented examples to show how the models compare. They are not market rates or Access One prices. Plug in the numbers from the quotes you receive.

Example 1: same clinic, three quotes

A dental clinic plans AED 10,000 a month on Google Ads.

  • Quote A, flat fee: AED 3,000 a month. Total monthly cost: 10,000 + 3,000 = AED 13,000.
  • Quote B, 20% of spend: 20% × 10,000 = AED 2,000. Total: AED 12,000. If spend doubles to AED 20,000, the fee becomes AED 4,000.
  • Quote C, hybrid: AED 2,500 minimum or 15% of spend, whichever is higher. At AED 10,000 spend, 15% is AED 1,500, so you pay AED 2,500. Total: AED 12,500.

Example 2: why the cheapest fee can cost more

Quote B is cheapest. But suppose agency A's account brings 40 booked patients and agency B's brings 25.

  • Agency A: AED 13,000 ÷ 40 = AED 325 per booked patient.
  • Agency B: AED 12,000 ÷ 25 = AED 480 per booked patient.

The higher fee is the better deal. Judge agencies on cost per booking, as explained in is Google Ads worth it for a clinic?

8 questions to ask before you sign

  1. Who owns the Google Ads account? It should be in your clinic's name, with you holding Admin access. Admins control user access, billing details and links. If you leave, your data stays with you.
  2. Do you pay Google directly? Paying Google on your own card or invoice means no hidden mark-up on media.
  3. What exactly is in the monthly fee? Ask for a written list: campaigns, landing pages, tracking, reporting, meetings.
  4. Is there a setup fee, minimum term or notice period?
  5. Is VAT included in the quote?
  6. What do you report? You want cost per conversion and, ideally, cost per booked patient. Clicks and impressions alone are not enough.
  7. Are you a Google Partner? The badge requires a 70% optimisation score, USD 10,000 spend across managed accounts in 90 days, and at least half of account strategists certified, according to Google's Partner requirements. It shows a baseline, not results.
  8. Have you worked with clinics under DHA rules? Ask for examples of compliant healthcare ads. Background in our guide to choosing a medical marketing agency.

Red flags

  • Guaranteed first position or a fixed number of patients.
  • The agency keeps the account and will not give you admin access.
  • Your ad spend runs through the agency's invoice with no breakdown.
  • Reports full of impressions and clicks, but no conversions.
  • Long lock-in contracts with no performance review point.

Frequently asked questions

Is the ad budget included in the agency fee?

Usually not. The fee pays for management. Ad spend goes to Google. Check every quote, because some agencies bundle both into one number.

Is a percentage-of-spend fee a bad idea?

Not necessarily. It is simple and scales with work. Just make sure the agency is measured on cost per booking, so there is no reward for spending more without results.

Can I run Google Ads myself instead?

Yes. Many clinics start in-house. The cost is staff time and the learning curve. Start with our Google Ads guide for clinics and budget guide.

How long should an agency contract be?

Results need about 30 days and 30 conversions to judge fairly, and setup takes time. A short initial term with a clear review point protects both sides. See how long Google Ads takes to work.
