How do I get more laser hair removal clients?

Get more laser hair removal clients in the UAE: DHA rules on who can offer laser, Google claims limits, price pages, WhatsApp booking and lead benchmarks.

Guide · 18 Oct 2026 · Access One

Quick answer

To get more laser hair removal clients in the UAE, run Google Search ads on area-and-price searches ("full body laser Dubai price", "laser hair removal for men Abu Dhabi"), send them to a page with clear per-area and package prices, the machine you use, the skin types it suits and who performs it, and make booking one tap on WhatsApp. Say "long-term hair reduction", not "permanent" or "100%". In Dubai, laser hair removal must be done in a licensed healthcare facility with a physician in charge, so salons cannot advertise it.

Who is allowed to offer it

This decides whether you can advertise at all. The DHA Laser and IPL Hair Reduction Standards (2016) say, for Dubai:

  • The service runs in hospitals, day surgical centres or outpatient care facilities. Beauty salons are not on the list. The DHA has barred salons from laser and IPL hair removal since 2011 (Gulf News).
  • Each service needs a full-time physician in charge. Consultant or specialist dermatologists and plastic surgeons can supervise without extra training. Family medicine, internal medicine and endocrinology physicians need an additional laser licence.
  • Registered nurses and beauty therapists can work as "Laser Hair Technician" after DHA-approved training and assessment, including at least 10 documented cases.
  • The laser area must not open directly into a beauty centre or shop.
  • Every client signs a consent form. Under-18s need a parent or guardian's signature.

If you run a salon, advertise the services you are licensed for and partner with a licensed clinic for laser. See how to get more salon clients. Outside Dubai, confirm the rules with MOHAP or DOH Abu Dhabi.

Google and DHA wording rules

  • Avoid "permanent", "pain-free" and "guaranteed". Google's unreliable claims policy targets improbable results. The DHA bans "100%", "immediate results", "no side effects" and "the best" (Khaleej Times, Sept 2026). Use "long-term hair reduction" and "a course of sessions".
  • Prescription creams. If you prescribe numbing creams, keep drug names out of ads and pages. Google allows promotional use of prescription drug terms only in the US, Canada and New Zealand (Google, Oct 2025).
  • Remarketing. Laser hair removal is not named in Google's sensitive health categories, which cover conditions, invasive procedures and injections. Remarketing to site visitors is often possible. Keep the ad about the offer, not the viewer's body. If an ad is limited, remove the audience list. Do not target under-18s.
  • Medical director approval and titles. In Dubai, every post naming the facility needs medical director approval, and staff must use their licensed titles (DHA social media standard).
  • Federal ad licence. MOHAP issues health advertisement licences in 1 to 3 working days. Abu Dhabi facilities follow DOH standards.

The 8-step plan

  1. Split campaigns by buyer. Women, men and full-body packages. Men search "back laser", "beard line laser" and "laser for men". Women search by area and price. Separate ad groups, separate pages.
  2. Show prices per area and per package. Laser is one of the most price-compared treatments. A clear price table cuts calls that never book.
  3. Name the machine and skin types. UAE clients ask whether it works on darker skin. Say which skin types your lasers suit and that a patch test comes first.
  4. Show who treats them. Female therapists for women if true, the supervising doctor's licensed title, and the clinic's licence. That answers "is this safe?".
  5. Make booking one tap. WhatsApp, call and online booking on mobile. Set up WhatsApp lead tracking so you know which ads book.
  6. Use Google Business Profile. List each area as a service, add real photos of the rooms, and collect reviews after session 3 or 4, when clients see results. No incentives.
  7. Add negatives. "At home", "device", "machine price", "course", "training", "jobs", "IPL handset". See negative keywords.
  8. Sell the course and rebook. Laser needs several sessions. Book the next one at the desk and send reminders. Package clients cost nothing to re-acquire.

What leads cost

LocaliQ's 2026 benchmarks, mostly US data, show beauty and personal care at an average $4.62 click, 10.35% conversion rate and $39.25 (about AED 144) per lead. Laser is a crowded category in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, so local costs vary. Measure cost per first session and package sold, not cost per click. Background: Google Ads cost per click and how to reduce cost per lead.

Related: dermatology patients and Botox and filler patients.

Frequently asked questions

Can a salon advertise laser hair removal in Dubai?

No. In Dubai, laser and IPL hair removal must be done in a licensed healthcare facility with a physician in charge. Salons have been barred from it since 2011.

Can I say "permanent hair removal" in my ads?

Avoid it. It can breach Google's unreliable claims policy and DHA rules on absolute claims. Say "long-term hair reduction" and explain that a course of sessions is needed.

Should I put laser prices in Google ads?

Yes, if accurate. A "from" price per area in the ad or a price asset filters out bargain hunters before they call.

When is the busiest season for laser hair removal?

Many clinics push courses in the cooler months, so clients finish sessions before summer and sun exposure. Plan budget and offers around your own booking data.
